It all began in the 1800s with Arvid Conrad Laurentius Bruzelius and Sophia Warnstrom. Both were born in Sweden in the 1870s. After they were married, they boarded a ship and headed for a better life in America. Arvid worked to pay their passage as a painter.
Arvid and Sophia had seven children: Daniel, Mary, Esther, David, Joseph, Ruth and Eva. It is from these seven children that the Bruzelius Family in America comes from.
Arvid was laid to rest in Northhome Minisota.
